March 31, 2025. The ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification standard has been awarded to Peroptyx by A-LIGN, an ISO/IEC 27001 certification body accredited by the ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board. The certification applies to all business and machine learning solutions provided by Peroptyx.

It is a delight to have led the process in collaboration with my co-leaders in Operations, Data Science, Business and Finance to achieve an outcome which demonstrates our commitment to security standards that meet the expectations of our global customers, evaluators, partners and employees. 

The new 2022 standard includes:

• Significant changes are around information security controls, and are aligned with the updated ISO 27002:2022 standard. 
• The number of controls in Annex A has been reduced from 114 to 93, categorised into four themes: Organisational, People, Physical, and Technological. 
• Eleven new controls have been introduced to address emerging threats and technologies. 
• 24 controls have been merged, and 58 have been updated or renamed to reflect current best practices. 
• Focus on Risk-Based Thinking:

The standard emphasises understanding and mitigating information security risks. 

• Emphasis on People and Culture:

The updated standard also recognises the importance of people and a security-conscious culture within an organisation. 

Peroptyx was certified under the ISO 27001:2013 standard in March 2022.
